I spent a fabulous Saturday with Jimmy Clewes.  The Vancouver Island Woodturners Guild (I’m a member) brought him in from Las Vegas for a day long demonstration of techniques and stories.  I love this guy.  So many similarities.  I hope to see him again.  I will be introducing new pieces of “Funktional” Art based on today!

This is a great stop motion video created around the making of a segmented bowl.  It took 2 weeks to make this 8 minute film.  I don’t know if I’d have the patience.

The Fairfield Artists Studio Tour is coming up on April 27th and 28th.  Should be a fun weekend around Fairfield.
